It is YOUR job to make you happy

It is not your careers job

It is no your spouses job

It is not your friends job

And it is certainly not your kids job

This sounds kind of harsh

But it is true

And it is SUCH.GOOD.NEWS!

Who better than YOU to know what you like and what you want to do?!?

When we expect others to make us happy by:

Buying us the right gift

Helping with chores without asking

Planning a surprise get away

Saying nice things to us

We are often disappointed.

It is best to meet our own needs and stop trying to cajole or control those around us (This is exhausting...I may have tried!)
